Accident Prone ( 9/5 - 9/11 ) Suggested by iceandivory Uh-oh, sorry medics! Adstring's a little clumsy this week! It might started out small, like cutting your finger instead of that tomato when you mastered blades years ago, spraining your ankle even though you're a trained fighter or acrobat, spells going just a little bit wrong... except it seems to be getting worse as the week goes on!

Canon Update/Backdate ( 9/19 - 9/25 ) Suggested by notamageiswear This week, all affected characters remember Adstring, but there may be something different about them... because they're from a different point in their canon! Personality changes, different powers, and so forth. (Note: Power restrictions will still be in effect this week)

BOOM POW COLORS YAY ( random dates ) Suggested by the Animus Is it a special occasion? Are they celebrating some sort of Adstring-holiday? Or do the Animus just like sparkles, explosions, and anything else they can get away with in the name of fun? Who knows! But it seems September is fireworks month, and on a few random nights this month the Animus have decided to party it up! Loudly! Colorfully! Randomly!

For backdating, would it stand to reason that they would remember everything in Adstringendum, all the circumstances and events, but not their thoughts/motivations behind it, and not their canon past?

Obvious questions are probably obvious.

For instance, if I were to take Ciel from when he's nine, he wouldn't remember any of his canon history from that point.

However, he'd still know that for some reason, in Adstring, he's a reclusive jerkface, and that Sebastian protects him and is something supernatural, but since they haven't sat down and discussed the whole devouring of souls thing he wouldn't know about that part?

Like, he'd know that Finny was his gardener and who Soma was, and what their relationships were -- but not recall how they met or any information they haven't discussed since Adstring?

Does that sound accurate?

Yeah, that all sounds about right. ^^ Like they'd know where they'd gotten, but not know how they got there. Or why, or anything like that.

I had a random question about the canon update/backdate thing after thinking about it a little. Would turning a character into their child self from a flashback/memory at some point in their canon be considered a canon backdate, or is that going too far? Thanks :)

That should be okay, since it's based off a canon point. ^^ It's not too far back or anything.
