I just wanted to note that mint grows like a weed and is very hard to keep from overtaking gardens. It's fine if it stays rare, but realistically it would take over the areas that things like basil and sage grow and make them even rarer. (I've had to completely replace my herb garden soil several times because it has been overrun by the local wild mint, and there is little difference between the wild and cultivated strains.)
