I'm looking to someday app a Yeerk from the series Animorphs. If you're not familiar, they're basically slugs that possess people, and they have a biological need to leave their host every three days and soak up a certain kind of ray called Kandrona- sort of like plants needing light or people needing food. Without it they die.

I'm trying to think of a workaround for this- maybe Adstring does weird things, maybe she wouldn't be able to leave her host at all. That'd have the bonus of removing her Kandrona dependence, but have the drawback (for her ICly) of making her dependent on the safety of her host, and being unable to leave her host.

I also thought maybe she could be provided with Kandrona somehow- Aang showed up with Appa, after all, and I know there's a canon point where she has a portable one with her.
