Is it required to have a personal journal on dreamwidth when playing here?

Would a plurk account work instead? Or a link to a livejournal account?

Also, is it true that the character journal used for the game must have no other entries that are not pertaining to in-game activity?

Ex. I don't have a "muse box", so I might use the journal to do an out of game thread. Is this permissible?
