Hey! We talked it over, and how we've handled similar characters in the past is with a somewhat slower healing rate- several hours to a day or a few days when normally something would heal in a matter of minutes, for instance.
As for the immortality, it would work! At first, anyway. However, he'd spend more time dead than he normally would, and each time would take longer. Eventually, the immortality (though not the healing) would fade completely as he "wore out his luck", so to speak, and he'd be subject to death prices like other characters.
