We prefer that you keep the character's personality based on canon evidence or reasonable inference from canon (i.e. interpretation is fine, but please avoid headcanon with no canon evidence to back it up.) If his canon appearances are too limited to form the basis for a well-rounded personality, unfortunately, he may not have enough canon to be appable.
