Strange Vegetables I: Rainbow Trees ( 10/04 - 10/30 )

The vegetation of Adstringendum has seemingly gone a bit... odd. Two sorts of plants in particular: First, and most colorfully, the trees are changing color! Into rainbows! Instead of the usual reds, oranges and yellows, the deciduous trees of the city are turning all sorts of colors. This effect doesn't go away until the end of the month, when the trees are mostly losing their leaves anyway. But while the trees seem to be normal other than their new color scheme, the pumpkins... not so much.

Strange Vegetables II: Pumpkin Boogaloo ( 10/07 - 10/13 )

It starts with quite a few more pumpkins, in places no one remembers planting them. But each day and every night, the pumpkins get a little bigger, the creepers grow a little further, and more and more pumpkins appear throughout the city. Best get to pie-making, before that gourd that'd win first prize squishes something instead!

It's not just you, the city of Adstringendum suddenly got a lot creepier. The rainbow trees cast strange shadows, the place is full of strange noises you can't quite name, familiar structures seem strange and uncanny for no reason you can quite place, and there seems to be something lurking just out of the corner of your eye... but maybe there's nothing there?
