Urban Jungle ( 10/11 - 10/17 ) Spring has really REALLY sprung. In fact, it's even a little hot, humid, and overgrown, even for spring. It seems the Animus have gone all out and turned the city into a jungle! ...Was that a snake?

What If...? ( 10/11 - 10/17 ) Suggested by EVERYONE EVER What if that day had gone differently? If you had said yes instead of no, stayed instead of leaving or turned right instead of left? The Animus want to see just how different their toys would be if one significant event in their history was different.

or, 'Instead of letting her better nature win out, Usagi actually did hand Chibi-Usa over to Black Moon to try to bargain for the girls' freedom from capture. Guilt abounds, and Black Moon has a powerful tool in an even worse form of Black Lady. She will be so happy Chibi-Usa is, well, Chibi-Usa here.'

Or, 'Usagi said yes to Demando instead of no, thanks to his hypnosis powers. Black Moon Serenity says hello. She is still mostly Usagi, but through an opposite perspective of loyalties and sides.'

OOO. The what if. I'm... going to have to think carefully about this.

All right, after some thought, two options. And I'm torn:

1) What if Faye never decided to invite herself to move onto the Bebop? Thus, she has met Spike and Jet, and had a couple of run-ins with them, but never joined up with them (and they're nothing but freaking idiots who like to handcuff people to toilets what the hell is up with that), and the entire series after Gateway Shuffle never happened. Expect obnoxious, "enterprising" /ahem, cynical and hardened Faye in her prime.

2) What if she never got on the shuttle that had the accident when she was 20 years old? Essentially, this one choice would change her entire life as we know it. She would've never been frozen and woken up 54 years later, acquired a debt she could never pay, lost her memories, been taken advantage of by a con artist posing as a lawyer, become a bounty hunter, or developed the "We deceive or we are deceived" attitude that now defines her. Since those events affected her psychology so profoundly, it is likely that, while her core personality would remain the same, her behavior and more superficial personality aspects would be vastly different. This is a direction that I'd really love to explore, but it would require a ton of thought on my part to pull off right.

WHAT IF EVENT~! SO EXCITED...THOUGH I WILL BE MISSING THE FIRST DAY OF THE EVENT SINCE I'LL BE ON A BUS COMING HOME FROM DAVIS.

I've only got three guys figured out I think.

Sirius: What if he was the perfect Black heir? Not rebellious, not a prankster, not a Gryffindor...maybe he was sorted into Slytherin instead and from then on he was just sort of brainwashed/conformed? Exact back story is a bit iffy, but he's going to be evil/dark arts-y. MAYBE EVEN A DEATH EATER.

Blaine: What if he never transferred to Dalton? The confident, dapper, cheerful Blaine you know, gone. I've always imagined his bullying days were rough and if he never was given a safe haven in Dalton, I think he'd be a completely different person. HAVE FUN WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND BEING FUCKED UP KURT.

Trisha: A bit tentative on this one, but I think it would work. What if Trisha was born in Xerxes and Hohenhiem born 400 years later? Essentially their roles would be reversed. Trisha would be the badass alchemist that had to leave her family behind and Hohenheim would have been the stay at home daddy with a sickness that was killing him. EXCUSE TO HAVE TRISHA BE AWESOME AND BAMF? YES.

Toph, Sakura and Madara are still in the works. I can do...like a million things with these guys and I have to figure out WHAT I WANT TO DO EXACTLY. So I'll edit this later and add their stuff once I figure things out. I'M OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS.

So far, all I have figured out is Grantaire. Most likely, I'll make it so he didn't get trashed and sleep through most of the battle. Instead, he managed to get off his ass and fight for his beloved. And get injured pretty badly but still survived. And the barricade boys win.

Anyone have any ideas on what I can do for Arthur? fff I can't think of anything yet.

Okay, I know what I'm doing for Jr. and Ulquiorra (Hello c!Rubedo and fully masked!Ulqui), David will take some thinking since I have no Gargoyles AUs yet. PM...I have some possibilities for.

1-WV does not get locked inside the station and, following her conversation with WQ, PM talks to him about what he's guarding. Main difference here is that she would have been holding the White Ring when she came in and will be more confident that they can defeat the Sovereign Slayer.

2-This one, I'm not entirely sure would apply, since it's not so much an event I'm changing as a situation. I would appreciate if a mod could let me know if it fits with the event. PM was Exiled from the Trolls' Session rather than the humans', had no dealings with the Sovereign Slayer, but ended up in Midnight City and forced to work for the Midnight Crew. Lots of differences here, since I'm flipping her entire life turnways. Most notably, she'll be less spastic but also more temperamental and desensitized to violence and killing.
