→ USING THE NEW COMMUNITY FORMAT
Using the community-based format may look and feel different at first, but it's quite simple once you get the hang of it.
--- HOW COMMUNITY-BASED POSTING WORKS
To make a post in the comm-based format, simply take the post you would have put in your character's journal (say, their reaction to the earthquake) and post it to the main community,
adstringendum. Things like how you number posts, post titles and indications of what format it is in (text, voice, video, etc.) do not change, but you have to remember to tag this post with your character's name. Not doing so makes it hard for people to find specific threads later on.
You'll receive replies and respond to them just how you would if the post was in your journal. Simple as that! The only big differences are where your posts go and the fact that personalized tags can no longer be made as community-based format only uses tags to indicate which characters are involved in which posts.
--- HOW THE CHARACTER TAGS WORK
One of the main benefits to having a comm-based game is that it's easy to find threads that specific characters are in. In order to do that, tags need to be utilized. Here's how:

--- HOW THE CHARACTER TAGS WORK
One of the main benefits to having a comm-based game is that it's easy to find threads that specific characters are in. In order to do that, tags need to be utilized. Here's how:
- First, make sure that you've commented [HERE] with your character's name so that we know to make a tag for them. Character names will follow the naming style of the canon they belong to: Western Canons: Firstname Lastname
Eastern Canons: Lastname Firstname
Nicknames go in 'quotes'
Aliases go in (parentheses)EXAMPLES: Eastern: Urahara Kisuke, Western: Severus Snape, With Nickname: Olivia 'Lily' Walker, With Alias: Nathaniel (John Mandrake) - WHEN MAKING/REPLYING TO A POST IN
adstringendum: Tag your entry with character name. If you have commented in the link above, the tag should already be there. No [post] or [reply] differentiation needs to be made.
- WHEN MAKING/REPLYING TO LOGS IN
adstringendumlog: Simply tag the log with character name. No [post] or [reply] differentiation needs to be made.
- NPC POSTS/THREADS/LOGS with the Animus (or any other NPC) will be tagged with [npc]: npc name for your searching convenience.
If you have any additional questions, please ask and we will get them answered as soon as possible!
