Pre-Compression ( 04/08 - 04/14 ) Buildings stand perfect, pristine, and totally abandoned. Lights flicker, lifts work sometimes and if you can find a radio or television all it repeats is the last few seconds of something, over and over again. Computers only display the page they were on, vehicles stand silent and unmoving. Weird flickers in the corners or your eye, like you just missed seeing something--or someone. The world of Adstringendum is as it was, seconds before compression. Note: Anything kept on your character when the event ends will be 'recompressed', meaning you might end up with a laser gun with a can of peas melded into the middle. Useful, no, but still cool, right?

Ten Years Later ( 04/22 - 04/28 ) Suggested by Kisa Flash forward, it’s ten years into the future of Adstringendum and you've been here all this time! What's happened over the years? Events, deaths, new friends, old enemies, marriages, all the dramatic and mundane happenings of the city, not to mention those older faces. After all, ten years is enough time for the scientists to have finally managed to fix that pesky time-compression problem somewhere along the way, right? The whole city (people, buildings, animals) are older now; ten years of history in Adstringendum. What have you been doing?

Also, at some point, do you mind if we say that Katara got to know Merlin? Not necessarily well, but I think she'd be drawn to him because of the whole magic thing, so there would probably be a lot of general questions/advice-asking.

I can see her being just bitter/sad/WHAT HAVE I WORKED SO HARD FOR EVER, but also able to relax and listen and not be all angry so she'll probably let Snape point her in the right direction.

You know, I should know better than to be drinking something when reading your comments by now. In other words, YES.

I also want to suggest a Midas Touch sort event, but then I'd also want us to do it at some point, but then that would be IC and fit with the whole thing, but then it might be repetitive, but then we could do it sometime far down the line and ahhh, please?

And I would assume that various people/groups have tried to get out of AD or make it so that they have the choice of going or staying or trying to create portals between this world and their own, stuff like that. Inner City/underground incursion stuff. None of which have worked so far, but it's only been 10 years and there's been progress in other aspects like the whole small items in from their worlds thing.

Mami has met his sister in brief! And would probably seek him out, eventually. We should plot something with these two - I love weirdass CR.

Merlin by then will be her oldest friend, as much as one can be friends after years of hate and resentment. BUT. she'll just sort of...accept that they've both have made mistakes.

So basically figuring out how to create a bridge between AD and people's specific worlds, like those interdimensional passages between SS and the real world and HM?

And we could mention a couple new events during this event that would be good to use later on- so then, when they happen, people might wonder if anything else they 'remembered' could also happen? As long as it's not all of them, it shouldn't get too repetitive. Since no one's playing out the old events now, it's just experiences to refer to.

And things like that, yes. Nothing entirely reliable yet, but tiny connections to other worlds- progress, bits of hope.

Yes, and in Merlin's end it will be a lot like how he is with the great dragon. They've both done terrible things but in the end they're still themselves. Morgana's redemption would put to rest a lot of his demons about trying to change the future.

And yes, like a multi-reality Garganta or something. :D Could probably have references to a lot of mangled things coming in first. Then Urahara fixed it then they kept working on it, and now they get actual things from it?

/o/ Yes! They could have worked together to try and get something like that to happen. Maybe ultimately have failed since they're all still there? (aha) But it'd have been an attempt at least.

She'd probably end up looking up to him. But that is a good idea! I know Ami was offering to help her--even now-- but I think she'd want to study under all sorts of people that work with it in Adstring :3;So it could definitely help, yes!
