Pre-Compression ( 04/08 - 04/14 ) Buildings stand perfect, pristine, and totally abandoned. Lights flicker, lifts work sometimes and if you can find a radio or television all it repeats is the last few seconds of something, over and over again. Computers only display the page they were on, vehicles stand silent and unmoving. Weird flickers in the corners or your eye, like you just missed seeing something--or someone. The world of Adstringendum is as it was, seconds before compression. Note: Anything kept on your character when the event ends will be 'recompressed', meaning you might end up with a laser gun with a can of peas melded into the middle. Useful, no, but still cool, right?

Ten Years Later ( 04/22 - 04/28 ) Suggested by Kisa Flash forward, it’s ten years into the future of Adstringendum and you've been here all this time! What's happened over the years? Events, deaths, new friends, old enemies, marriages, all the dramatic and mundane happenings of the city, not to mention those older faces. After all, ten years is enough time for the scientists to have finally managed to fix that pesky time-compression problem somewhere along the way, right? The whole city (people, buildings, animals) are older now; ten years of history in Adstringendum. What have you been doing?

But yeah, maybe something like that- dinosaurs came back, but the entire world was late Cretaceous and hey there's volcanos/meteors/something on the way. A mini Armageddon.

And really, yes, that's one of the best parts!

Ami will be 28-29, exponentially more confident (though still a little skittish when it comes to interpersonal affairs) and much more organized as one of the primary caregivers in the community. Her time with Unohana and Helen will have given her a substantial education in the medical realm and she will have established herself as a go-to for (primarily human) care. (Did I hear something about babies? Pediatrician, maybe?)

Mai will...well, depending on Zuko-mun's return (or not?) will probably be married/pregnant/something along those lines, and...I kinda have nothing. ATLA peeps wanna plot?

Shepard will be more grisly and battle-scarred, and will be yelling at the rest of you kids to get off her lawn.

And she might get / have gotten the short explanation as to why helen hasn't aged. especially if they're working closely together for so long.

I certainly aim for Ami and Helen to have gotten closer (regardless of this event).

definitely! as do i. and someone as genuinely kind as ami stands a better chance of it. helen's just a mass of walls and it takes forever to get anywhere with her XD
