Pre-Compression ( 04/08 - 04/14 ) Buildings stand perfect, pristine, and totally abandoned. Lights flicker, lifts work sometimes and if you can find a radio or television all it repeats is the last few seconds of something, over and over again. Computers only display the page they were on, vehicles stand silent and unmoving. Weird flickers in the corners or your eye, like you just missed seeing something--or someone. The world of Adstringendum is as it was, seconds before compression. Note: Anything kept on your character when the event ends will be 'recompressed', meaning you might end up with a laser gun with a can of peas melded into the middle. Useful, no, but still cool, right?

Ten Years Later ( 04/22 - 04/28 ) Suggested by Kisa Flash forward, it’s ten years into the future of Adstringendum and you've been here all this time! What's happened over the years? Events, deaths, new friends, old enemies, marriages, all the dramatic and mundane happenings of the city, not to mention those older faces. After all, ten years is enough time for the scientists to have finally managed to fix that pesky time-compression problem somewhere along the way, right? The whole city (people, buildings, animals) are older now; ten years of history in Adstringendum. What have you been doing?

Thanks for the link! On jumping to conclusions: Perhaps it's the ruination of some shared project? Like their stage burns down? Or, Sokka can accidentally break something that's personal to Kida and then be accused or doing it on purpose?

Either way, I think it'll have to either be a tumultuous time or a serious offense if they're going to stop being friends for a couple years. XD

THAT'S OKAY. helen will give her space. the only real rules would be "don't mess anything up in the hospital and don't eat anyone."

other than that, she'd be perfectly welcome to bug helen as much or as little as she wanted and come and go as she wished. pretty sure vicki would hear helen up at all hours of the night on some of her sleepless nights XD

so at the very least, tolerating each other XD? because helen would want to help protect vicki, since what happened to her REALLY hits her hard with regard to what happened to her own daughter.

Seeing as Jr. will have been hanging around with Dirk and Roxy and considers Urahara his father, it's probably a safe bet that these two met at some point during the ten years.

So far, all I've got planned is this which isn't all the pretty. D:

But Sokka and Hermione need to have some good times. And some projects, I think. Maybe they could finish making an art museum for Adstringendum? Or Sokka can start teaching Hermione how to fight and she can be an honorary member of his tribe and the Wolf Warriors!

I literally have nothing planned. Except that Hermione is going to be bffs with Nathan, apparently, much to Ron's chagrin. She can also be bffs with Sokka, just to add to Ron's chagrin. They're married, but Kisa and I haven't discussed how happy that marriage is, though we do know they fight constantly. There was mention of the personality switching event making Ron attack and/or kill Hermione; I don't think we've worked out how far we've gotten into that. But some months later, he dies from another event and loses his magic.

I think the less and less happy Sokka is with himself over the years, the more he'll want to distance himself from the image he has of his father. He's pretty ashamed of his downward spiral. :( So, there goes the wolftail.

Sokka looks to be making friends with Nathan, too, so that's sure to make Ron EXTRA HAPPY!

Also, if Ron kills and/or attacks Hermione, Sokka is going to have a very hard time not trying to exact vengeance. |:

Honestly, what I'd love to see is someone teaching Sokka how to begin overcoming his loss, and I think Hermione would be great for that. She's gentle and understanding (assuming she can forgive him for being such a douche to Suki about losing their baby,) and she'll know how to deal with his frustration. Really, he just needs to be reminded there are other ways to recognize a person outside of their facial makeup.

I really... want to do all the things with you. Most times I try to hold back because if I didn't I think we'd have 400 things going at once (and since I suck at replying timely, I feel like fail.)

... there should be Sokka/Nathan/Hermione shenanigans. I don't know of what sort, but there should be.

Sokka could be cold/distant towards Ron after that incident, and might freak out over ever little cut he sees on her body.

Hermione is always going to be there for Sokka, no matter what. She's going to disagree heavily over what happens with Suki, but after hearing him out, she will support him as best as she can because she loves him and that's what friends do for each other.
