Pre-Compression ( 04/08 - 04/14 ) Buildings stand perfect, pristine, and totally abandoned. Lights flicker, lifts work sometimes and if you can find a radio or television all it repeats is the last few seconds of something, over and over again. Computers only display the page they were on, vehicles stand silent and unmoving. Weird flickers in the corners or your eye, like you just missed seeing something--or someone. The world of Adstringendum is as it was, seconds before compression. Note: Anything kept on your character when the event ends will be 'recompressed', meaning you might end up with a laser gun with a can of peas melded into the middle. Useful, no, but still cool, right?

Ten Years Later ( 04/22 - 04/28 ) Suggested by Kisa Flash forward, it’s ten years into the future of Adstringendum and you've been here all this time! What's happened over the years? Events, deaths, new friends, old enemies, marriages, all the dramatic and mundane happenings of the city, not to mention those older faces. After all, ten years is enough time for the scientists to have finally managed to fix that pesky time-compression problem somewhere along the way, right? The whole city (people, buildings, animals) are older now; ten years of history in Adstringendum. What have you been doing?

BOTAN
Well, Botan's now closer to 60, but would probably have only aged to look... 16, 17 at most? I kinda want to get her living with more people. Biggest things she's done is things like devil traps for other things, and barriers. She's probably more battle-trained at this point! Because it's hard to heal people when there's bad things crowded around. Ahah... Aside from being better adjusted to handle events and crazy people, she... hasn't changed too much.

LILY
Lily's about 28 at this point, but only looks around 23 thanks to something keeping her apparent age around a general area. So aging is probably subtle. Her toxin's gotten more potent, but if Helen's managed to work with her then there might actually be some sort of control! :O She can be around people without getting them as high. There might also be some more badassery having added into her skills and time. So she might've softened up a bit, but... still a bitch. W.H.E.L.P.

SHIZUO
This can really go either way, depending on how much he's trolled. Shizu-chan's pretty happy and has more chances to relax and show that he's not some mindless beast. He's somehow even stronger and has probably been helping out and feeling less like he doesn't do the people thing well. So there might be more people that he's willing to make a connection with, instead of connecting with a small amount and watching their social lives. Of course there's probably a few that he still tries to go out and deal with...

CHII
Chii physically hasn't changed one bit. I'd imagine (if Tesla-mun wants) that she has actually gotten some upgrades or adjustments to her systems. Chii's definitely picked up personalities and is more articulate than having first arrived. Still wants to help and have people be happy, though. Anything you want to imprint on the computer? Ah, there would have also been times that Freya's been out, and mysterious blackouts around those times~

Yea, sorry work has me dead on my feet but anyway...

First week is going to give Rose culture shock, seeing as Albion wasn't really big on electricity during her time much. They still used candles and such so she has no idea what most of this stuff is.

Second week, well ten years is going to be a long time. I assume during that time things between her and Logan would be better but at the same time they would still have their moments once in a while. Their relationship is like a crumpled piece of paper. She'll most likely try her hardest not to make enemies, knowing how important allies are and all but sometimes it might be inevitable. Not sure where she will be standing with her current CRs and what they will be like in the future but I'm open to plotting.

Well, Sokka will teach Lily anything he knows, so there's that! Also, at some point there was mention of Sokka stripping, but no one wants to take that seriously. I just thought Lily should know. XD

Anyway, I have a few things planned for Sokka, and I think specifically, I'd love to see Lily added in to the bar ownership end of things! :D

I'm totally up for some stuff with your other muses, too, though I don't think Sokka knows them... yet. >:D

Nope, Sokka definitely doesn't know them yet. xD If the bar thing is being done with Kida, and there being a good relationship before that as well, he'd probably come across Shizuo every now and then. Someone impossibly strong but actually a normal person, and all that.

And I know Jr. and Jake are action explorer buddies with the worst fashion sense and Roxy is one of the few people Jr. can talk to about stuff relating to things from his world without explaining. I'm also 99% sure Jr. would refuse to call Dirk Bro, since he doesn't throw familial terms like that around lightly.

Possibly sparring buddies, since Jr.'s a swordsman and inhumanly fast/strong?

KANAYA!!!

She will have matured. She will have matured physically but more importantly, emotionally. She will be less reserved in her wants and needs, and her general crankiness/insecurities will be tempered after being here for ten years. She is going to have much more control over her rainbow drinker (vampire) powers, although she is not selfish or mean enough to use any of them on anyone (mental suggestion, hypnosis stuff, generic vampire cliche powers). She is even more comfortable with openly telling others what she is and is much more comfortable asking to feed and doing the actual feeding.

She may or may not have ended up in any relationships? It would be her luck to end up being chaste, virginal, and single the entire time what with her being Virgo/The Virgin, but at the same time she will be more comfortable pursuing her interests, even if her 'pursuing' is simply fairly chaste flirting. Canon has sort of made her doomed to be the virginal mother figure due to all the events, but Adstring does not restrict her in such a way, so I do not know. it would make me so happy to get her a love interest even if temporarily really the poor girl needs to be loved

She will basically be the beautiful classy lesbian vampire queen that the fandom sometimes Flanderizes/meme-izes her younger self into.

For what she has been doing in Adstring, I imagine that her efforts to create fashionable clothing for people would be pretty successful and she would also toil endlessly to help grow plants and trees around the city. She will also be contributing by doing her best to protect other people whenever necessary, as her mutant-like alien maternal role will be in full force. Despite this strange feeling of irrational sentimentality towards others, she is going to be merciless when it comes to people that have done things such as killing for no reason or inhibiting the well-being of everyone in Adstring. She will be both the extremes of incredibly kind mother figure and merciless justice vampire.

And I am up for plotting where her relationships with other people would have gone over these ten years!! Hit me!!

Kanaya will likely have joined the Kyoshi Warriors legitimately and then left, too. But her and Suki should be badass independent warrior ladies when shit gets real.

She'd also try to help with the child thing, but...seeing as the concept of having a child is totally alien to Kanaya and her species, she would struggle incredibly while trying to help.

Shizuo can be a regular, yes? Their business will likely be built on regulars, after all! I think that makes some sense, so there's no telling how well they'll all know each other!

Honestly, I'd love for Sokka and Ron to become friends at some point. Not sure they have to be close-close, but I think it would be cool if they got to the level where they could hang out and have a couple beers together.

Sokka's going to have it pretty crazy. I imagine after Sokka ends it with Suki, Ron's not going to have much love for him on account of Suki being an honorary Weasley. Would you agree? Or won't it matter by then?

Anyway, lemme know what you think. Maybe we could also plan something with one of your other characters! :D

Sokka/Nathan/Hermione shenanigans sound amazing! I can imagine they'd have some sort of group project, or something they like to do as a group. Is bowling an option? LOL Haven't heard from Sam much about it, though, so I can't conjecture at this point.

I'm waiting to hear from Kisa whether or not Sokka and Ron can be friends to some degree before he hurts Hermione. Not sure they'd ever be friends after Ron hurt Hermione, but hey. It's not like Sokka's without sin, right? He'll probably ease up when/if Ron dies. XD

Have you considered a death price for Hermione if she goes that route?

If you don't mind, I'll be assuming Hermione's the one teaching Sokka how to cope with his loss. She's so bright, I can't imagine a solution wouldn't appear to her right away. Would also adore playing that out because, omg, so intriguing.
