Pre-Compression ( 04/08 - 04/14 ) Buildings stand perfect, pristine, and totally abandoned. Lights flicker, lifts work sometimes and if you can find a radio or television all it repeats is the last few seconds of something, over and over again. Computers only display the page they were on, vehicles stand silent and unmoving. Weird flickers in the corners or your eye, like you just missed seeing something--or someone. The world of Adstringendum is as it was, seconds before compression. Note: Anything kept on your character when the event ends will be 'recompressed', meaning you might end up with a laser gun with a can of peas melded into the middle. Useful, no, but still cool, right?

Ten Years Later ( 04/22 - 04/28 ) Suggested by Kisa Flash forward, it’s ten years into the future of Adstringendum and you've been here all this time! What's happened over the years? Events, deaths, new friends, old enemies, marriages, all the dramatic and mundane happenings of the city, not to mention those older faces. After all, ten years is enough time for the scientists to have finally managed to fix that pesky time-compression problem somewhere along the way, right? The whole city (people, buildings, animals) are older now; ten years of history in Adstringendum. What have you been doing?

Like I said, I don't think Sokka would be at the point where he'd think he was worthwhile for anyone, let alone someone as amazing as Hermione, so whatever misplaced feelings he has wouldn't surface for long. He might overstep his boundaries and try to steal a kiss, but beyond that I don't think he'd have enough faith in himself to do anything even if it was offered willingly.

It's good for future awkward, at least. XD

Considering how tactile Sokka is, I wouldn't put it past him to be a snuggler with anyone. I mean, he even snuggled a bit with Hanna not all that long ago. XD Mostly because they were drunk and Hanna needed a friend.

Really, though, I'm totally picturing them alternating between each other's laps as they fulfill their friendly obligations. Sokka reading with one hand, brushing at Hermione's hair with the other? :X TOO CUTE. And I can totally see the reverse and afjkdfa, I feel like no one should complain because they're friends and that's cute.

As for a picture? I'd die a little to see it, I think. If I weren't feeling an utter lack of creativity, I'd consider drawing it myself... not that I ever finish projects, ahaha.

And Ron's complaints are why Sokka will insist these readings happen elsewhere. Besides, if Ron really wants to cuddle that badly, he can read everything to Hermione instead. XD

Planning details might be hard without knowing EVERYTHING EVER that happened beforehand, but I'd be willing to try!

Dumb Kida secrets include but are not limited to him being a gang leader (recently overthrown with an execution order on his head) and the fact that his chasing after every girl ever is a cover for his actual lame, lonely self. I would also be up for him betraying Sokka or vice versa by handing out secrets or selling important info or anything like that.

Really, though, Sokka would argue Ron has no right to complain, as he's the reason Hermione can't read on her own. Annnnd then he's probably lose those teeth we were talking about earlier, haha! Anyway, I still like the idea of friendly cuddles because Sokka's going to totally need them. XD They can both snuggle up with the aging Appa and use him as an excuse.

I'm okay with either! It might he harder for Kida to sell out Sokka than Sokka to sell out Kida, as Sokka's pretty much aired his big secrets as the need's arisen. XD

He could probably tell both of those things to the network. Maybe point out how "big and bad" Kida used to be, except he just thinks he was because, haha, he was tossed from his own club and he can't even get and keep a girl.
