Brief Description or Sample: John is a friendly, caring person who does his persistent best to get along with everyone, whether or not they might actually want to. It's possible to make him angry (if you try really hard and keep at it), but he seldom holds grudges, and even if he's been done wrong in the past, he's likely to forgive it--if not outright forget--and move on. He is a colossal derp, and pretty much lacking in a brain-mouth filter; if it comes into his head, it'll come out of his mouth. On the one hand, you can pretty much take what he says to the bank, but, on the other, his blunt way with words might come off as being tactless.

He's naive and optimistic, often believing in the best of everyone, until he has reason to believe in otherwise, and even then, with all the reason in the world, he still might believe in them. He's a little passive, and in so being, leaves him open to being manipulated at times, but if he needs to act, he will, and with stubborn determination. That said, he's not a perfect kawaii uguu moe character. If someone bites, he can bite back; he swears, and can have a bit of a mean, snarky streak. He also fancies himself a master Prankster, but he means that all in good fun, and would never want to hurt anybody seriously with his antics. Despite his clueless factor and lack of self-awareness, John is remarkably intuitive of others and their feelings. He also has a knack for ingenuity, as well as observation when he can be made to focus. The operative fragment being "made to"; he's capable of taking his own initiative, but does also have a penchant for wasting time when his energy should be used directed on other tasks.
