Hello there everyone! ♥ If you've been here for a couple years or more, you might remember the Visitors from Home event. In short: every character has the chance to 'bring' one or two castmates into the game for the duration of the event. Who plays them? Other players, even people outside the game, even you if need be! All this and more can be yours, please continue reading for the details.

The Technical Bits

Each character can bring up to two (2!) castmates in during the event.

If that mun had the same character here in AD previously, memories from that time can be kept to facilitate CR!

The castmates have to be closely related. If you're not sure if something qualifies as closely, please ask! If they've never interacted and aren't aware of the other's existence, it doesn't qualify! (Unless you have some really amazing explanation...)

If you're already part of the game, all you have to do is create your journal, and let us know who you're playing and who you're playing for.

If you're not currently part of the game, welcome. ♥ The same as above applies to you, but we also have to ask for some kind of contact information, in case we need to clarify anything with you. Also, we'd have to ask for a brief personality description or a short RPing sample for each character you'd be playing. You'll also still be responsible for the rules of the game. We also reserve the right to not allow every player entrance, but in any case, if you're not sure of anything, please ask!

When you find someone/are found, please please please don't make individual posts to the community to let everyone know. ;~; We'll put up both a discussion post and an 'application' post to keep things organized.

Rules of the game still apply: AUs, canon-OCs, duplicates, etc., still can't be brought in. However, characters that normally wouldn't be appable because of minimal canon would be playable for the event. They could not, however, be apped afterwards. :(

If you are playing a character who is otherwise apply-able (applicable?), and you find yourself wanting to keep them, your trial-run counts as an automatic reserve. Just let us know by the end of the event, to make it official. You'll have the normal length of time to submit a complete application, but if it's accepted, it'll be as if you've never left (...because you hadn't)! If the time runs out without an application being presented, it'll be just like losing a reserve. :( You'd still be welcome to apply for them later, but for the time being, they'd be considered dropped.

With Korra and stuff, a few of the ATLA cast (namely, Toph and Katara) have kids they could bring in. Granted, they'd be older adult children and Toph, likely, is dead in Korra so there's that, but technically they fit the requirements of 'closely related'. I don't honestly expect this to count, but just to get the question out of the way so I can say it was asked: would Tenzin and Lin count? Or any other characters in a similar situation

I'm hoping this'll be okay on the same grounds as the twins only counting as one character due to their situation, but I have someone planning on bringing their father in for the event...their father who happens to be possessing their brother in a more hostile but otherwise identical form of the way Albedo sometimes possesses Rubedo. This means that both souls still inhabit the body and can switch off if one manages to overpower the other. Would this count as one of his visitors since it's only one body and one character out and about at a time or both because it's two distinct personalities?

I have a question about AU's. Marvel has *canon* AUs, although with alternate timelines, and other stuff. For instance, with Magsy here - someone from HoM world, which is a pocket AU of 616. Could someone from that be brought in?

I have a question relating to our SPN cast, and the angels in particular.

I know the original rule is that we bring in castmates, but I don't know SPN, and I've been wondering if it might be possible, for the angels, to bring in archangels from another series, like Angel sanctuary.

But I understand it might fall under AUs/other versions. Just let me know if that would be acceptable or not!

I have a quick question: we currently have a Dr. Banner and a Loki who are from the Avengers/Thor universe. I have a Jane Foster, from the 2011 Thor movie, who I would love to bring in. However, she has not really interacted with them directly, but due to her connection/relationship with Thor, who knows Banner and is Loki's brother, would this be enough of a connection to warrant an appearance here?

Other than that, I don't think I know many other canons here, but if anyone has A:tLA or HP or DW requests, I might be able to pull off something fairly passable. In other words, just ask, you might be surprised!
