Hello there everyone! ♥ If you've been here for a couple years or more, you might remember the Visitors from Home event. In short: every character has the chance to 'bring' one or two castmates into the game for the duration of the event. Who plays them? Other players, even people outside the game, even you if need be! All this and more can be yours, please continue reading for the details.
The Technical Bits
Each character can bring up to two (2!) castmates in during the event.
If that mun had the same character here in AD previously, memories from that time can be kept to facilitate CR!
The castmates have to be closely related. If you're not sure if something qualifies as closely, please ask! If they've never interacted and aren't aware of the other's existence, it doesn't qualify! (Unless you have some really amazing explanation...)
If you're already part of the game, all you have to do is create your journal, and let us know who you're playing and who you're playing for.
If you're not currently part of the game, welcome. ♥ The same as above applies to you, but we also have to ask for some kind of contact information, in case we need to clarify anything with you. Also, we'd have to ask for a brief personality description or a short RPing sample for each character you'd be playing. You'll also still be responsible for the rules of the game. We also reserve the right to not allow every player entrance, but in any case, if you're not sure of anything, please ask!
When you find someone/are found, please please please don't make individual posts to the community to let everyone know. ;~; We'll put up both a discussion post and an 'application' post to keep things organized.
Rules of the game still apply: AUs, canon-OCs, duplicates, etc., still can't be brought in. However, characters that normally wouldn't be appable because of minimal canon would be playable for the event. They could not, however, be apped afterwards. :(
If you are playing a character who is otherwise apply-able (applicable?), and you find yourself wanting to keep them, your trial-run counts as an automatic reserve. Just let us know by the end of the event, to make it official. You'll have the normal length of time to submit a complete application, but if it's accepted, it'll be as if you've never left (...because you hadn't)! If the time runs out without an application being presented, it'll be just like losing a reserve. :( You'd still be welcome to apply for them later, but for the time being, they'd be considered dropped.
