Hello there everyone! ♥ If you've been here for a couple years or more, you might remember the Visitors from Home event. In short: every character has the chance to 'bring' one or two castmates into the game for the duration of the event. Who plays them? Other players, even people outside the game, even you if need be! All this and more can be yours, please continue reading for the details.

The Technical Bits

Each character can bring up to two (2!) castmates in during the event.

If that mun had the same character here in AD previously, memories from that time can be kept to facilitate CR!

The castmates have to be closely related. If you're not sure if something qualifies as closely, please ask! If they've never interacted and aren't aware of the other's existence, it doesn't qualify! (Unless you have some really amazing explanation...)

If you're already part of the game, all you have to do is create your journal, and let us know who you're playing and who you're playing for.

If you're not currently part of the game, welcome. ♥ The same as above applies to you, but we also have to ask for some kind of contact information, in case we need to clarify anything with you. Also, we'd have to ask for a brief personality description or a short RPing sample for each character you'd be playing. You'll also still be responsible for the rules of the game. We also reserve the right to not allow every player entrance, but in any case, if you're not sure of anything, please ask!

When you find someone/are found, please please please don't make individual posts to the community to let everyone know. ;~; We'll put up both a discussion post and an 'application' post to keep things organized.

Rules of the game still apply: AUs, canon-OCs, duplicates, etc., still can't be brought in. However, characters that normally wouldn't be appable because of minimal canon would be playable for the event. They could not, however, be apped afterwards. :(

If you are playing a character who is otherwise apply-able (applicable?), and you find yourself wanting to keep them, your trial-run counts as an automatic reserve. Just let us know by the end of the event, to make it official. You'll have the normal length of time to submit a complete application, but if it's accepted, it'll be as if you've never left (...because you hadn't)! If the time runs out without an application being presented, it'll be just like losing a reserve. :( You'd still be welcome to apply for them later, but for the time being, they'd be considered dropped.

Is there a particular canon point you'd like?

Whatever you'd prefer would be fine for me. Zelda is from like ten seconds before revealing that she's not a dude to Link, but I don't mind if you want to play him from after that point at all. I would just be happy to have a Link!

I already play him in two other games (as Young Link just after meeting Kaepora Gaebora for the first time and as Post-MM Given his Adult body back) and am looking to app Hero's Shade canon point in Wishing Scales when apps open.

I was going through the requests because a friend of mine was wanting someone from their (pretty obscure) canon and I wanted to get an idea of what this whole event was about when I saw your request. ^.^ So honestly? I'm pretty comfortable with playing Link from any canon point that would be good for you. I can match the canon point or not as you'd like. Feel free to ask for something specific.

I do play my Link using game canon and filling in with the Manga for personality/mannerisms as far as sequence of events go. Though if you'd like me to merge manga events, I can do that, too - the important one to keep the same for me is Link's fight against Dark Link in the water temple rather than the manga alternate for that.

So in conclusion: what would you like to see?

Matching with Zelda's current canon point sounds good then! She'll still be Sheik to him, though at some point she may reveal herself to him as per canon point due to the event!

I'm fine with filling in the game canon with some manga canon for personality/mannerisms. I played Link here a long time ago and he was pretty much game canon, though I took a few things from the manga just to expand his personality a bit. Zelda is purely game canon, not much other than icons is taken from the manga for her, but I don't mind you doing so for Link since he has far bigger gaps to fill in than Zelda does game canon wise!
