Buildings stand perfect, pristine, and totally abandoned. Lights flicker, lifts work sometimes and if you can find a radio or television all it repeats is the last few seconds of something, over and over again. Computers only display the page they were on, vehicles stand silent and unmoving. Weird flickers in the corners or your eye, like you just missed seeing something--or someone. The world of Adstringendum is as it was, seconds before compression. Note: Anything kept on your character when the event ends will be 'recompressed', meaning you might end up with a laser gun with a can of peas melded into the middle. Useful, no, but still cool, right? |
Suggested by Kisa Flash forward, it’s ten years into the future of Adstringendum and you've been here all this time! What's happened over the years? Events, deaths, new friends, old enemies, marriages, all the dramatic and mundane happenings of the city, not to mention those older faces. After all, ten years is enough time for the scientists to have finally managed to fix that pesky time-compression problem somewhere along the way, right? The whole city (people, buildings, animals) are older now; ten years of history in Adstringendum. What have you been doing? |

I'm sorry to hear you've been in a rut. As per usual, if there's anything I can do, just let me know.
As for plotting: Doesn't have to be with Jet, if you're not sure what's happening with him. You've got other characters we could work with!
Sokka's going to be running a bar with Kida by then. Certainly that should interest one of yours. He'll also be divorced from Suki and just... not making good life decisions (what else is new?) so there's always that.
What do you have planned for yours? Anything yet?

Jet and Katara married, huh? Didn't see that coming... LOLOLOL No, I lie, I totally saw it. Anyway, that's cool. I mean, even if they don't always get along, Sokka knows Jet's good for Katara.

I'd love to plan something with Jet. I'm sure their relationship will be up and down and down and up, as per usual.
I'd like to plan something with Nathan, too, though I'm not exactly sure what he and Sokka could do. Maybe a project together, assuming Nathan calms himself a little over time?
As for the log: I'm okay with back-dating or handwaving. Wouldn't even have to backdate unless there's a reason to do so. Lemme know your thoughts. :)

You know I'm always glad to do anything with you and yours, so if Nathan wants to do something with Sokka, then huzzah! Maybe he can come work at the bar that Sokka and Kida run by year 9?
Also, a log sounds great! Not sure how much making up they'll do naturally, though. Guess if they don't get on the topic of Azula, it'll be all right... >.>

other than that, she'd be perfectly welcome to bug helen as much or as little as she wanted and come and go as she wished. pretty sure vicki would hear helen up at all hours of the night on some of her sleepless nights XD
so at the very least, tolerating each other XD? because helen would want to help protect vicki, since what happened to her REALLY hits her hard with regard to what happened to her own daughter.
