Pre-Compression ( 04/08 - 04/14 ) Buildings stand perfect, pristine, and totally abandoned. Lights flicker, lifts work sometimes and if you can find a radio or television all it repeats is the last few seconds of something, over and over again. Computers only display the page they were on, vehicles stand silent and unmoving. Weird flickers in the corners or your eye, like you just missed seeing something--or someone. The world of Adstringendum is as it was, seconds before compression. Note: Anything kept on your character when the event ends will be 'recompressed', meaning you might end up with a laser gun with a can of peas melded into the middle. Useful, no, but still cool, right?

Ten Years Later ( 04/22 - 04/28 ) Suggested by Kisa Flash forward, it’s ten years into the future of Adstringendum and you've been here all this time! What's happened over the years? Events, deaths, new friends, old enemies, marriages, all the dramatic and mundane happenings of the city, not to mention those older faces. After all, ten years is enough time for the scientists to have finally managed to fix that pesky time-compression problem somewhere along the way, right? The whole city (people, buildings, animals) are older now; ten years of history in Adstringendum. What have you been doing?

Kurotsuchi will be on like his tenth lab at his current rate. ;~; Sooo... by then he'll have set up a respectable household with Yuca dissected another portion of the city ...will look exactly the same?

She'll be creepy and odd (instead of just odd), but probably still like him. Somewhere. Or at least remember that she did, and be trying to poke her way into understanding it.

Also Hitsu could handle getting swatted at by her Hedonist body trying to scrape out (heron/scorpion thing). She wouldn't actually intend to hit him with it.

I'd sort of love her to attack someone and try to take some of their organs to stuff in herself. ;~; She's not strong, though, she'd have to go after a normal human.

Definitely won't stop him from at least trying to help out. He'll take what she dishes out.

And try to protect other people from her at the same time. If you find a volunteer, that'd be all kinds of fun and scary though.

But she'll be covered in dead critters, at the very least.

I was also vaguely considering yuca going BSOD in the next few years, so maybe TYL can have some fallout from that?

I was wondering about that when I saw you mention it down page- what would Yuca's state be, if he did?

YES. ;w; Maybe some YucaSoul copies too, but they'd always be tiny and melancholy. But Jizocopies would play with them when they weren't carrying things for the lab.

I'm still not sure! I've got a few weeks to figure stuff out, but I figure he'd be a little more- empty, maybe? idk. I might not go with it at all, but I wanted at least one of my characters to turn out negatively instead of NICE AND WELL ADJUSTED. Murr, must think about it.

Awwww. ;~~~; And when they weren't carrying labthings, the mini!Jizos would carry around the Yucopies and squeak at them.

And true, there's weeks to think about it! I just- had the mental image of an empty/essentially comatose Yuca set up in a chair somewhere as if he were normal, while Kurotsuchi talks to him about research and his progress, as if everything was normal and Yuca was still responsive.

But they have to try. Because not trying- it'd be even worse.
