Pre-Compression ( 04/08 - 04/14 ) Buildings stand perfect, pristine, and totally abandoned. Lights flicker, lifts work sometimes and if you can find a radio or television all it repeats is the last few seconds of something, over and over again. Computers only display the page they were on, vehicles stand silent and unmoving. Weird flickers in the corners or your eye, like you just missed seeing something--or someone. The world of Adstringendum is as it was, seconds before compression. Note: Anything kept on your character when the event ends will be 'recompressed', meaning you might end up with a laser gun with a can of peas melded into the middle. Useful, no, but still cool, right?

Ten Years Later ( 04/22 - 04/28 ) Suggested by Kisa Flash forward, it’s ten years into the future of Adstringendum and you've been here all this time! What's happened over the years? Events, deaths, new friends, old enemies, marriages, all the dramatic and mundane happenings of the city, not to mention those older faces. After all, ten years is enough time for the scientists to have finally managed to fix that pesky time-compression problem somewhere along the way, right? The whole city (people, buildings, animals) are older now; ten years of history in Adstringendum. What have you been doing?

Kida's made an impression. He's stuck with her.

Trying to flesh it out a bit more, so he's actually colorblind (via deathprice), and he and Jinx ended horribly before it began. But so far, most everything else is the same.

He probably clung to her like mad for the first year or two after Jinx (while still flirting with everyone else anyone). Anything else that might have happened?

After he died? Training training training. She probably forced him to learn self-defense with her, taught him how to shoot guns, clean them, take care of them, how to garden - things like that. She'd bully him into it if he resisted, just because she wanted to make sure he would know how to take care of himself if she ever left.

Perfect. Because Jinx is the one teaching him self defense now, and learning how to use all the guns would be wonderful. I think he'll die around year 4.

She's going to start dating Dave at some nebulous point in the ten years, but she is going to very stuanchly refuse to let that affect her friendship with Kida. He's still going to be stuck cuddling in the stuffed animal pile watching TV with her.

Haha. Nice. He will so take advantage of that to make Dave jealous on occasion, and all the hitting on Jade won't stop even though he knows nothing will come of it.

She will probably just flirt back and then punch him when he goes too far. B)
