APRIL FOOL'S DAY ( 4/1 ) What's this? The wall around the Inner City seems to have disappeared... but all is not as it seems. Give in to temptation and try to set foot inside the area it protected, and there's no predicting what might happen next. Anyone who tries to enter will be affected by one of the following pranks: • freezing in place for anything from a few minutes to a few hours • developing rainbow polka-dots • being forced to speak in reverse • finding themselves facing and walking in the opposite direction • nose growing to preposterous length and sprouting leaves Continuing to try will add new “pranks” for each step taken. Watch where you put your feet: effects will last until the stroke of midnight!

THE CITY NEVER SLEEPS ( 4/7 – 4/13 ) Suggested by falkeditupagain Like a flash, the whole city is illuminated. Even torn-down buildings seem to have functioning electricity: every wire, every extension cord and plug is live. Except there seems to be no way to turn it off. It just goes and goes, with no known power source. How many of these buildings are to code? In a ruined city with functioning electricity and no way to regulate power, a thousand dangers await. With electrical fires and live wires around every corner, maybe next time you'll wish you had a new candle instead of the comforts of home.

FORGET ME NOT ( 4/21 – 4/27 ) Suggested by al_truism Affected characters begin to forget everything about the one thing in Adstringendum that is most important to them: person, place, or object, perhaps even their own powers. The catch? The more they try to remember, the faster they forget. The only way to keep your memories is not to think about them....

For Forget Me Not, is it the most important thing in Adstring currently or just the most important thing that has been in Adstring?

Currently! So whatever or whoever is the most important that is still in the city at the time.

If characters have multiple things that are equally important to them, would they forget them all, or just one at random?

FOR CLARIFICATION because I'm tired and I don't know if I'm making sense: of the things that are important to Vriska, there's one person and a few concepts/goals that are basically top-tier. Should I pick one to make her start forgetting, or would she start forgetting them all because they're all equally important in their own ways?

After some pondering and realizing that it would definitely be difficult to pick just one for many characters, we decided up to three things/people can be considered 'most important' and therefore affected by the memory loss.

So...what if a character's most important thing literally speaks in his head? The things most important to Rubedo and Albedo are each other. The thing is, they're a pair of souls occupying a single body and each is undeniably aware of the other's presence whether they think about it or not, particularly since the 'dormant' one gets to watch whatever the 'active' one is doing and they can communicate mentally.

First runner up for both of them is Gaignun, who they share a mental link with of the variety that if they don't actively not send their thoughts to him, said thoughts leak out. Obviously, either of them would be impossible to entirely forget in these circumstances, so would the links be severed or would they just forget details and how they're related and just be left wondering WTF is up with all these mind shenanigans since they would obviously remember if one of their siblings was in the city?

It's alright if you want to have them forget the details about the other and how they're related, but they would still be able to communicate with each other.

Oh, what would this mean if the people they're forgetting had a major impact on their lives? Gaignun and Albedo were both very major figures in Rubedo's history, so his life would have gone very differently without them. Do his memories change to account for the missing information or will he just be left going 'hey, does anyone else find it weird that I ran the Kukai Foundation looking like a kid? And why was I Gaignun Kukai Jr. if there was no Gaignun Kukai?'

Not to mention the gaps it would leave for Albedo.

I'm thinking the latter, and then the more he tries to figure it out the more he can't remember. Personality wouldn't change or anything though because the past events weren't erased or replaced, they just wouldn't be able to remember why they made the decisions they did.
