BEACH BUMS ( 7/7 - 7/13 ) Has that drought been going on too long? Where did all that sand come from? ...and the palm trees? Looks like the Animus are in a party mood! This week, Adstringendum temporarily resembles a tropical island: the wall has become a shore surrounded by some awesome waves, and broad sandy beaches, palm trees, and bright flowers are popping up wherever you look. Grab yourself some sunscreen and look out for sharks!

INSTABILITY ( 7/3 - 7/20 ) The drought may have broken, but things are still all shaken up: this month, strange changes in weather and even gravity are the norm. Check the daily weather and gravity icons for details! High Gravity: Is that the weight of the world? Everything feels so much heavier.... Low Gravity: You can fly! Or at least leap small buildings in a single bound. Random Effects: One step you're as light as a feather, the next you're sinking into the ground.

BATTLE ROYALE ( 7/20 - 7/28 ) Suggested by temperm The Animus have been quiet lately... but that couldn't last forever. Now, they're coming back with a bang. Some of Adstring's residents will find themselves trapped inside the mall with their powers and their PCDs mysteriously missing and deadly weapons strewn around the decaying halls. There's only one rule in this game: kill or be killed. Details of this event and participant signups will be available in a separate post!

Battle Royale Question

Will death prices be a thing during the Battle Royale?

I mean, either way, Duo's getting in on this. But for anyone who doesn't want to have a death price, this might not be a thing they'd participate in...

If you're character is a vampire or demon or something that would go into a frenzy that gives them no special powers but causes them to ignore morals, would that still happen during the battle royale?

Battle Royale Questions

Okay, so in the description of the event, it mentioned technologically advanced weapons (such as handguns) were available but not sniper rifles (which are considered long ranged). Where would shotguns and various assault rifles fall under? Are they in the same category as sniper rifles as long ranged, or are they considered technologically advanced like handguns?

As well, when the event is over and the killed are revived, do the same death revival rules apply in that they are brought back with their wounds (assuming it won't auto-kill them again)? Or are they healed of all their wounds?

Heya!

No, shotguns and assault rifles won't be available; the gun selection is significantly more limited than the melee weapon selection can't make it too easy, right?

They'll be healed of all their death wounds, but may retain other wounds inflicted during the event (so if someone was shanked in the shoulder but held on for another day until being shot, they'd be completely healed of the gunshot but would still have the shoulder stab wound.)
