MALBOROS ARE BAD FOR YOUR HEALTH ( 6/4 - 6/6 )

The walls aren't keeping creatures securely in the Wastes anymore, and a group of Malboros have wandered into the Safezone to menace the residents of Adstringendum. Time to go hunting....

If you want your character to be involved in fighting the Malboros (or being attacked) please check in for plotting on the sign-up thread below! A log will be posted for this event at the beginning of June.

GRAB BAG EVENT ( 6/8 - 6/15 )

Things are a little shaken up in the city, and it's not just the landscape! This week, players may choose up to two past events to affect their character. Pile of exploding balloons in their bedroom? Clothing turning into candy? Kitten-inducing snuggie? Bodyswitching? Sudden desire to sing? Check the [Past Months] links at the bottom of this page for ideas and use this post to plot!

Only the character and their immediate surroundings will be affected, so if a player wants to pick the Birds of a Feather event, they would grow wings; the Water World event might give the character gills and fins, but would not cause flooding... better get to a bathtub quick!

IT'S GETTING HOT IN HERE ( 6/17 - 6/30 )

Summer hits with a vengeance! The temperatures soar, and there's not a cloud in the sky... the river and lake levels are sinking, too, and Squid-tan isn't going to be happy to share the water he has left.

The drought will last through the end of the month. Be prepared!

CACTUS JUICE ( 6/23 - 6/29 )

There's not a lot of water around, but little barrel cactus are springing up everywhere. Juicy, green, and dripping with tasty sap (just avoid the spines), they're the perfect answer to a raging thirst. Careful which one you pick, though: all those little cactus might look the same, but some of them have wild side effects.

Most of the cacti appearing in the city will be perfectly safe to eat, but some will cause stomachache, dizziness or vivid hallucinations.

How far back into the past events can we go?

All the way back to 2008, excluding past grab-bag events (as well as, obviously, crossovers, visitor events, and plot events.)

During the grab bag event, can the two events we pick overlap? For example, I've decided on Age Regression and Touch of the Wild for Duo. Would it be possible for him to be bitty AND to sprout animal features? Or does it have to be one OR the other?

Something wonky will happen with Jack's ability to control ice and snow and create them, right? How bad will it be?

He'll still be able to create and control snow and ice, but it'll act the way that mundane snow and ice will in very hot weather -- that is, it'll start melting and warming up immediately as soon as he's not actively focused on keeping it cold.
